NASHVILLE, Tenn. — As part of the NFL's month-long A Crucial Catch campaign, the Titans are partnering with the American Cancer Society for a gameday charity drive benefiting the Memorial Foundation Hope Lodge in Nashville. Fans are encouraged to participate in the "5 and $5 Drive" before Monday's game by bringing five items from the Hope Lodge's wish list of most-needed items.
That list includes:
• Paper Towels
• Napkins
• Facial Tissue
• Utensil sets (forks/spoons/knives)
• Coffee (regular and decaf)
• Laundry Detergent (no bleach)
• Fabric Softener (liquid or sheets)
Each American Cancer Society Hope Lodge offers cancer patients and their caregivers a free place to stay when their best hope for effective treatment may be in another city. Not having to worry about where to stay or how to pay for lodging removes emotional and financial burdens and allows guests to focus solely on getting better. There are more than 30 Hope Lodge locations in the United States, including two in Tennessee.
Volunteers will be stationed at various points outside of Nissan Stadium to collect donations, and all donations will go directly to the Memorial Foundation Hope Lodge in Nashville.
