NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Titans have agreed to terms with former New York Jets defensive end Claude Pelon.
Pelon, who played collegiately at USC, played in one game for the Jets last season. He spent time during the 2016 season on the team's practice squad after being signed as an undrafted free agency.
Pelon (6-3, 300) worked out for the Titans on Wednesday, and reached a deal with the team. He's expected to be on the practice field this morning when the Titans kick off training camp.
He takes the place of Kevin Dodd on the team's 90-man roster. Dodd was released on Tuesday.
Also on Wednesday, the Titans placed offensive lineman John Theus on the Non-Football Injury list.
Earlier, linebacker Rashaan Evans and receiver Michael Campanaro passed physicals and were taken off the Non-Football Illness list. Defensive tackle Mike Ramsay was also removed from the "Non-Football Injury" list.
