Woods (6-4, 307) joined the Titans in 2014, and has 62 tackles over the two-year period.
He joined the Titans after spending two-plus seasons with the Steelers.
Woods, who became a free agent earlier in the week, has played in 69 career games. He entered the NFL as a fourth-round selection by the Saints in 2010. He played collegiately at LSU.
At the start of the NFL's free agency period on Wednesday, the Titans traded for former Eagles running back DeMarco Murray, and then signed center Ben Jones (Texans), receiver Rishard Matthews (Dolphins) and quarterback Matt Cassel (Cowboys) to deals. Earlier, the Titans signed former Dolphins cornerback Brice McCain.
