NASHVILLE – The Titans have agreed to terms with long snapper Morgan Cox on a one-year contract extension.
Cox, who initially joined the Titans in 2021 after spending his first 11 NFL seasons with the Ravens, was named to his fifth Pro Bowl in 2022.
Cox has played in 210 games during his NFL career, including postseason contests.
Cox snapped to punter Ryan Stonehouse and to kickers Randy Bullock, Caleb Shudak and Josh Lambo during the 2022 season.
The University of Tennessee product has been regarded as one of the best long snappers in the league since entering the NFL in 2010.
Speaking to TennesseeTitans.com from the Pro Bowl last month, Cox said he was hoping to return to Tennessee.
"God has a plan, and I certainly hope to be back with the Titans next year," Cox said. "I am going to play as long as I possibly can. I love what I get to do, and I am grateful. I feel like I am still playing at a high level, and I am going to keep playing as long as I can."
