NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans have signed veteran T Will Svitek to the 53-man roster and added TE Brett Brackett to the practice squad.
Svitek (6-6, 305) has eight seasons of NFL experience, playing 74 games with 18 starts. He spent time with Kansas City, Atlanta, New England and Cincinnati during his career. Last year he played in 13 games with the Patriots, including two starts at right tackle. Svitek entered the NFL as a sixth-round selection in the 2005 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs.
He played three seasons for the Chiefs before signing with Atlanta, where he would play four years. He has logged starts at both left and right tackle during his NFL career. He played his college football at Stanford and registered 38 games as defensive lineman.
Brackett rejoins the Titans practice squad after being added to the active roster last weekend for the Jacksonville game.
