NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms on a contract with safety Anthony Smith.
Originally a third-round selection by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2006, Smith (6-0, 200) has played in 63 games with four teams during his career – Steelers, St. Louis, Jacksonville and Green Bay.
Over his career, he has totaled seven interceptions and 19 starts. His best season came with the Steelers in 2007, when he played in 16 games with 10 starts and registered 74 tackles, two interceptions and forced a fumble.
Last year, he split the season between Jacksonville and Green Bay before ending his season on injured reserve.
Smith was a three-year starter who tallied 14 interceptions during his career at Syracuse.
