RosterMoves-(1)

NASHVILLE – The Titans have added linebacker Joe Jones to the team's 53-man roster.

Jones has played in three games for the team in 2023 as a gameday elevation from the team's practice squad.

He's been credited with a pair of tackles on special teams.

The Titans initially signed Jones to the practice squad during Week 2 of the 2021 season. The 6-foot, 240-pounder appeared in nine games in his first season with the Titans and totaled five special teams tackles in addition to posting one tackle and two quarterback pressures in limited snaps on defense.

Jones played in 15 games for the Titans in 2022.

Prior to arriving in Tennessee, Jones posted 26 career special teams stops, four defensive tackles and one blocked punt in 49 games over four seasons with the Denver Broncos (2017-20).

The Plano, Ill., native originally signed with the Dallas Cowboys as a rookie free agent following the 2017 NFL Draft, and has also spent time with the Los Angeles Chargers, Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Jones tallied 70 tackles, three sacks, two passes defensed and one fumble recovery in 27 games at Northwestern (2013-16).

The Titans face the Colts on Sunday at Nissan Stadium.
