NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Titans have drafted Louisville offensive tackle Byron Stingily with the 175th pick overall in the sixth round.
Stingily is a 6-foot-5, 313-pound lineman who started 23 games over the past two seasons with the Cardinals. He was part of an offensive line that allowed only 17 sacks in 2010.
The Titans are set at tackle with Michael Roos on the left side and David Stewart on the right. But they like to draft linemen and develop them for the future, and Stingily will get to work with new offensive line coach Bruce Matthews, a Hall of Fame lineman.
