NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Titans have agreed to terms with defensive back Joshua Kalu, who returns for his second stint with the team.
Also, the Titans have placed defensive back Kalan Reed on Injured Reserve.
Reed, a seventh round pick by the Titans in the 2016 NFL Draft, was injured in practice last week.
Kalu (6-0, 203) joined the team as an undrafted free agent in May after playing collegiately at Nebraska, where he played in 48 games, with 37 starts, at cornerback and safety. Kalu totaled 215 tackles and seven interceptions, and he forced three fumbles.
Reed joins five other defensive players on IR – safety Johnathan Cyprien, cornerback Tye Smith, linebacker Nate Palmer, linebacker Gimel President and defensive lineman Johnny Maxey.
The Titans are scheduled to return to the practice field on Monday as the team begins preparations for Saturday's preseason game at Pittsburgh.
