NASHVILLE – The Titans have signed defensive back John Reid off of Atlanta's practice squad an on to the team's 53-man roster.
Reid is a former fourth-round pick of the Houston Texans (2020) who has played in 24 games, with three starts, over two NFL seasons, one with the Texans and one with the Seahawks. He has not played a game in 2022.
Meanwhile, the Titans placed defensive back Elijah Molden on Injured Reserve.
Molden will be required to miss at least four games, but an updated NFL rule would at least allow him to return – if healthy – despite being placed on IR a second time this season. A player can now be designated to return a maximum of two times during the season, with both counting towards the team's total of eight designations allowed.
Also on Wednesday, the Titans designated receiver Racey McMath and defensive back Josh Thompson to return to practice from Injured Reserve.
As a result, both McMath and Thompson now have a 21-day window to be activated, and they can begin practicing today.
McMath was originally placed on IR back on August 31, while Thompson went on IR on November 12.
The Titans return to action on Sunday against the Jaguars at Nissan Stadium.
