NASHVILLE – The Titans on Saturday activated edge rusher Bud Dupree from Injured Reserve.
Dupree, who practiced with the team throughout the week, is now eligible to return to action.
Also on Saturday:
-The Titans placed fullback Tory Carter on Injured Reserve.
-Receiver Cody Hollister and offensive lineman Daniel Munyer have been named standard elevations for Sunday's game. They'll revert back to the practice squad after the game.
-Defensive lineman Kevin Strong will be a COVID-19 replacement/elevation for Sunday's game.
The Titans face the Steelers on Sunday at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.
Dupree, who played from 2015 to 2020 with the Steelers, suffered an abdominal injury in the team's November 14 game vs the Saints, and he's missed the last three games.
His return should give the Titans a boost.
In seven games this season, including two starts, Dupree has been credited with seven tackles, eight quarterback pressures and a sack.
Dupree tallied 39.5 sacks in six seasons in Pittsburgh before signing with the Titans back in March.
Kickoff for Sunday's game against the Steelers in noon CST.
