NASHVILLE – The Titans on Wednesday activated left tackle Taylor Lewan from the team's Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Linebacker Jayon Brown, defensive lineman Denico Autry, right guard Nate Davis, tackle Kendall Lamm, receiver Julio Jones, defensive back Buster Skrine, outside linebacker Bud Dupree and receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine are on the team's COVID list, along with receiver Cody Hollister, who is on the practice squad COVID list.
The Reserve/COVID-19 list was created for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons. If a player falls into either of these categories, his club is required to immediately place the player on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Also on Wednesday, the Titans signed former Vanderbilt receiver Caleb Scott to the practice squad.
Scott (6-2, 203) entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent in 2019, with the Seattle Seahawks, where he spent his rookie campaign on their practice squad. He saw time on the Packers practice squad in 2020, and time with the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2021 training camp. Scott played 44 games for Vanderbilt and totaled 67 receptions for 1,011 yards and three touchdowns.
The team also placed cornerback Briean Boddy-Calhoun on the team's practice squad COVID list.
Lastly, the Titans waived offensive lineman Cedric Ogbuehi from the team's practice squad.
The Titans return to action on Sunday, January 2 against the Dolphins at Nissan Stadium.
