NASHVILLE – The Titans on Saturday activated defensive back Dane Cruikshank from Injured Reserve to the team's active roster.
Also on Saturday, the Titans elevated offensive lineman David Quessenberry and linebacker Daren Bates from their practice squad ahead of tomorrow's game against the Steelers.
Both Quessenberry and Bates will revert back to the team's practice squad following the game.
Cruikshank has tallied 18 special teams tackles over the past two seasons. In 2019, he totaled a career-high 10 special teams tackles, which ranked second on the team, and blocked one extra point and one field goal. He scored his first career touchdown in 2018 with a 66-yard reception on a fake punt against Houston (9/16) and was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
The Titans moved Cruikshank to the 'Designated for Return' list leading up to last Sunday's game against the Texans, which opened up a three-week window for Cruikshank to practice with the team without counting against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from injured reserve.
The Titans moved cornerback Adoree Jackson to the 'Designated for Return' this week, but he has not been activated, so he's unavailable for Sunday's game.
Kickoff for Titans-Steelers is noon at Nissan Stadium.
