NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A return to Monday Night Football.

Two prime time contests.

The season opener at Nissan Stadium.

All are a part of the Titans 2017 regular schedule, released by the NFL and team on Thursday.

We already knew the opponents. Here's a look at the dates, and more:

**

OAKLAND RAIDERS**

When: Sunday, September 10.
Time: Noon.

TV: CBS.
Last year's record: 12-4.
Last time faced: September 25, 2016 – Raiders beat Titans, 17-10.

All-time series: Tied, 6-6.
Of note: These two teams keep meeting, and this time it's in the season opener at Nissan Stadium. The Raiders should be a tough out once again following a season when they finished sixth in the NFL in total offense. Quarterback Derek Carr threw for 3,937 yards and 28 touchdowns before suffering a late-season injury similar to the one Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota endured in Week 16. He'll be ready for the season. Receivers Amari Cooper (83 catches, 1,153 yards, five touchdowns) and Michael Crabtree (89-1,003-8) are set to be his top targets again, along with tight end Jared Cook, who was signed in free agency.

AT JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

When: Sunday, September 17.
Time: Noon.
TV:CBS.

Last year's record: 3-13.
Last time faced: December 24, 2016 – Jaguars beat Titans, 38-17.
All-time series: Titans lead, 22-15.

Of note: The Jaguars retained head coach Doug Marrone, and hired Tom Coughlin as executive vice president of football operations. The team was busy in free agency, signing defensive lineman Calais Campbell, cornerback A.J. Bouye and safety Barry Church. Quarterback Blake Bortles led the team with 3,905 yards and 23 touchdowns, with 16 interceptions. With the fourth overall pick, the Jaguars will look to add an instant contributor in the upcoming NFL Draft.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

When: Sunday, September 24.
Time: 3:05.

TV: FOX.
Last year's record: 10-5-1.
Last time faced: October 13, 2013 – Seahawks beat Titans, 20-13.

All-time series: Seahawks lead, 2-1.
Of note: Seattle's offseason has been dominated by Richard Sherman trade rumors. The team did add guard Luke Joeckel and running back Eddie Lacy in free agency. Offensively, the Seahawks will be paced by quarterback Russell Wilson, who threw for 4,219 yards and 21 touchdowns. The Seahawks are always good on defense. In 2016, Seattle finished the season ranked No.3 in the NFL in points allowed, and fifth overall on the defensive side of the ball.

AT HOUSTON TEXANS

When: Sunday, October 1.
Time: Noon.

TV: CBS.
Last year's record: 9-7.
Last time faced: January 1, 2017 – Titans beat Texans, 24-17.
All-time series: Titans lead, 16-14.

Of note: Tom Savage is in line to start at quarterback after the Texans traded away Brock Osweiler. The Texans will get a big boost on defense with the return of J.J. Watt from injury. But the Texans lost cornerback A.J. Bouye in free agency (Jaguars), and the loss of John Simon and Quintin Demps are also significant. Running back Lamar Miller led the Texans with 1,073 yards and five touchdowns last year, while receiver DeAndre Hopkins hauled in 78 catches for 954 yards and four touchdowns. The Texans claimed the AFC South in 2016.

AT MIAMI DOLPHINS

When: Sunday, October 8.
Time: Noon.

TV: CBS.
Last year's record: 10-6.
Last time faced: October 9, 2016 – Titans won, 30-17.
All-time series: Dolphins lead, 6-5.

Of note: The Dolphins were a surprise team in 2016, and they've added some pieces during the offseason. Tight end Julius Thomas should help add some pop in the passing game after being acquired via trade, and the team also signed former Titans tight end Anthony Fasano. The Dolphins added former Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons. Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill threw for 2,995 yards and 19 touchdowns, while running back Jay Ajayi ran for 1,272 yards and eight touchdowns. Receiver Jarvis Landry caught 94 passes for 1,136 yards and four touchdowns.

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

When: Monday, October 16.
Time: 7:30 p.m.

TV: ESPN.
Last year's record: 8-8.
Last time faced: November 20, 2016 – Colts beat Titans, 24-17.
All-time series: Colts lead, 24-17.

Of note: The return to Monday Night Football comes here. The Colts hired Chris Ballard as General Manager in the offseason, and he's made some moves to upgrade the roster. The Colts added defensive lineman Johnathan Hankins, and the team also signed three former Titans – linebacker Sean Spence, defensive lineman Al Woods and offensive lineman Brian Schwenke. Quarterback Andrew Luck threw for 4,240 yards and 31 touchdowns. Receiver T.Y. Hilton led the Colts with 91 catches for 1,448 yards and six touchdowns while running back Frank Gore rushed for 1,025 and four scores.

AT CLEVELAND BROWNS

When: Sunday, October 22.
Time: Noon.

TV: CBS.
Last year's record: 1-15.
Last time faced: October 16, 2016 – Titans beat Browns, 28-26.
All-time series: Titans lead, 7-6.

Of note: The Browns traded for former Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler, and he's expected to be thrown into the competition, if not start. Most observers expect the Browns to add former Texas A&M star Myles Garrett with the first overall pick of next week's NFL Draft. Already, the Browns have signed offensive lineman Kevin Zeitler and JC Trenner, and they have a ton of draft picks, so more additions are coming that could provide immediate help. Receiver Terrelle Pryor, the team's biggest playmaker in 2016, joined the Redskins.

BYE

When: Sunday, October 29.

BALTIMORE RAVENS

When: Sunday, November 5.
Time: Noon.
TV: CBS.

Last year's record: 8-8.
Last time faced: November 19, 2014 – Ravens beat Titans, 21-7.
All-time series: Ravens lead, 9-6.

Of note: Quarterback Joe Flacco threw for 4,317 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2016, with 15 interceptions. Tight end Dennis Pitta led the squad in catches (86), while Mike Wallace led the way in receiving yards (1,017). The Ravens finished the 2016 season ranked 17th in the NFL in total offense, and 7th in total defense.

CINCINNATI BENGALS

When: Sunday, November 12.
Time: Noon.

TV: FOX.
Last year's record: 6-9-1.
Last time faced: September 21, 2014 -- Bengals beat Titans, 33-7.

All-time series: Titans lead, 8-5.
Of note: Quarterback Andy Dalton threw for 4,206 yards and 18 touchdowns last season, while receiver A.J. Green led the way with 66 catches for 964 yards and four scores. The Bengals lost a pair of key offensive linemen in Andrew Whitworth (Rams) and Kevin Zeitler (Browns).

AT PITTSBURGH STEELERS

When: Thursday, November 16.
Time: 7:25 p.m.

TV: NBC/NFLN/Amazon.
Last year's record: 11-5.
Last time faced: November 17, 2014 – Steelers beat Titans, 27-24.
All-time series: Titans lead, 10-7.

Of note: So much for that Ben Roethlisberger retirement talk. The Steelers quarterback is returning following a season when he threw for 3,819 yards and 29 touchdowns. The Steelers have one of the NFL's top backs in Le'Veon Bell, and one of the league's top receivers in Antonio Brown, who hauled in 106 catches for 1,284 yards and 12 touchdowns. The Steelers added defensive lineman Tyson Aluala in free agency, and also signed former Titans receiver Justin Hunter. This should be an intriguing one on Thursday night.

AT INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

When: Sunday, November 26.
Time: Noon.

TV: CBS.

Last year's record: 8-8.
Last time faced: November 20, 2016 – Colts beat Titans, 24-17.
All-time series: Colts lead, 24-7.

Of note: The Titans will have 10 days to prepare for the second matchup.

HOUSTON TEXANS

When:Sunday, December 3.
Time: Noon.

TV: CBS.
Last year's record: 9-7.
Last time faced: January 1, 2017 – Titans beat Texans, 24-17.
All-time series: Titans lead, 16-14.

Of note: This is the first of five December game. Will the Texans have their quarterback? The Texans will get a big boost on defense with the return of J.J. Watt from injury. But the Texans lost cornerback A.J. Bouye in free agency (Jaguars), and the loss of John Simon and Quintin Demps are also significant. Running back Lamar Miller led the Texans with 1,073 yards and five touchdowns last year, while receiver DeAndre Hopkins hauled in 78 catches for 954 yards and four touchdowns. The Texans claimed the AFC South in 2016.

AT ARIZONA CARDINALS

When:Sunday, December 10.
Time: 3:05 p.m.

TV: CBS.
Last year's record: 7-8-1.
Last time faced: December 25, 2015 – Cardinals won, 37-34 in overtime.
All-time series: Cardinals lead, 2-1.

Of note: Quarterback Carson Palmer threw for 4,233 yards and 26 touchdowns last season, while receiver Larry Fitzgerald hauled in 107 catches for 1,023 yards and seven touchdowns. David Johnson led the team's rushing attack, racking up 1,239 yards and 16 touchdowns. The Cardinals lost defensive lineman Calais Campbell this offseason in free agency.

AT SAN FRANCISCO 49ers

When: Sunday, December 17.
Time: 3:25 p.m.

TV: CBS.
Last year's record: 2-14.
Last time faced: October 20, 2013 – 49ers won, 31-17.
All-time series: Tied, 2-2.

Of note: The 49ers hired Kyle Shanahan as their head coach, and John Lynch as the team's general manager during an offseason of change. But the team has a lot of unknowns on their roster at key positions. The 49ers signed veteran quarterback Brian Hoyer, and added receiver Pierre Garcon in free agency. The team also added linebacker Malcolm Smith and defensive lineman Earl Mitchell on defense.

LOS ANGELES RAMS

When: Sunday, December 24.
Time: Noon.

TV: FOX.
Last year's record: 4-12.
Last time faced: November 3, 2013 – Titans beat Rams, 28-21.
All-time series: Titans lead, 3-2.

Of note: Christmas Eve at Nissan Stadium. The Sean McVay era begins this fall in Los Angeles, after the 31-year-old was hired as head coach. The Rams will be looking for big improvement from young quarterback Jared Goff, the No.1 pick in last year's draft who threw for 1,089 yards and five touchdowns a year ago after getting his chance. Running back Todd Gurley (885 yards and six touchdowns) will help take the pressure off Goff. The Rams made some pretty significant acquisitions in Andrew Whitworth, Robert Woods, Connor Barwin and Nickell Robey-Coleman.
