NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Titans (1-0) travel to St. Louis in Week 2 of the preseason to face the Rams (1-0).  Kickoff at the Edward Jones Dome (capacity 66,000) is scheduled for 7:00 CDT on Saturday, Aug. 20.

The game will be televised regionally on the Titans Preseason TV Network, including flagship WKRN-Channel 2 in Nashville.  Cory Curtis will handle play-by-play duties, while former Titans running back Eddie George will provide analysis.  Dawn Davenport will report from the sidelines.  A full listing of preseason affiliates is available on page 2 of this release.

The Titans Radio Network, including Nashville flagship 104.5 The Zone, will broadcast the game across the Mid-South with the "Voice of the Titans" Mike Keith, analyst Frank Wycheck, sideline reporter Cody Allison and gameday host Larry Stone.

LAST WEEK'S GAME

The Titans opened the preseason last week at LP Field against the Minnesota Vikings.  In Mike Munchak's head-coaching debut, the Titans scored two touchdowns off turnovers and won by a final score of 14-3.

Matt Hasselbeck, who was added to the roster on July 29 as an unrestricted free agent from Seattle, started in his first appearance for the Titans.  In one series of action, he completed five of six passes for 55 yards.

Hasselbeck then gave way to Jake Locker, a rookie from Washington who was selected eighth overall in the 2011 NFL Draft.  Locker played into the third quarter and completed seven of 10 passes for 89 yards and one touchdown without an interception.  His outing was highlighted by a 45-yard touchdown strike to wide receiver Yamon Figurs.

It was an encouraging evening for the Titans rookie class as a whole.  In addition to Locker, the team got significant contributions from several draft choices: third-round pick Jurrell Casey, a defensive tackle from USC, was credited with a forced fumble and fumble recovery that led to the team's first score; fourth-round running back Jamie Harper (Clemson) led the Titans with 27 rushing yards on eight carries and scored a touchdown; fifth-round defensive tackle Karl Klug (Iowa) started and notched three tackles; and seventh-round defensive tackle Zach Clayton (Auburn) posted a sack, a tackle for loss and a pass defensed.

THE RAMS

The Rams are looking to build upon their 7-9 record in 2010.  They opened their preseason schedule last week at home with a 33-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.  Starting quarterback Sam Bradford played into the second quarter and was seven-of-12 for 45 yards and one touchdown.  The Rams offense put up 342 total yards and controlled the ball for more than 36 minutes.

Last year, in Steve Spagnuolo's second year as Rams head coach, Bradford was named the Associated Press Offensive Rookie of the Year after passing for more than 3,500 yards.

The Rams also feature one of the NFL's top running backs, Steven Jackson.  Jackson, who is in his eighth NFL season, is third in the NFL with 7,948 rushing yards since entering the league in 2004.
