Name: Allie Lessmiller
Title: Director, Human Resources
Total Seasons: 4
Where did you work before joining the team?
Prior to working with the Titans, I worked in HR at AMSURG here in Nashville. I actually got my foot in the door with Human Resources at AMSURG, and worked with several wonderful people that helped shape me into who I am today.
Where did you go to college?
I went to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Chattanooga will always have a special place in my heart.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Franklin, TN. Having moved here in 2nd grade, I am not quite a native, but I feel pretty darn close to it.
Favorite moment form the 2020 season?
It's really difficult to just pick one moment.
In terms of football, taking my mom to the Bills game (photo). Our team overcame a lot in the days leading up, it was the first game with fans, and most importantly – we won!
Although, if I could define the entire 2020 season as a moment, I would choose that. Over and over again, my colleagues impressed me with incredible work even through all the new challenges the year brought. We grew stronger as a Titans family, and I am excited to see what this new strength turns into in the years to come.
Tell us a little about your life outside of work (family, pets, hobbies, etc.).
My husband (Kyle) and I have been married for 5 years and have a 2.5 year old daughter. We spend a lot of our time going for family walks with our dog, visiting family, and planning out our next adventure. We love traveling and can't wait to be able to do more of that soon!
What is your favorite dessert?
My mom's apple pie with a crumble top. Hands down, the best.
What's your favorite restaurant in Nashville?
What's a restaurant? Between COVID and being a parent to a toddler, I feel very much out of the loop on restaurants these day. If I had to pick, I would go with McNamara's Irish Pub. If you have never been, try out the Steak & Guinness Pie.
What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
My best friend's dad used to always say "it's only temporary". We used to laugh it off, but it really applies to every aspect of life. When things get tough, it's a nice reminder to forge ahead because you will get to the other side. On the flip side, it's an important reminder to soak in all the goodness that life brings too.
Favorite Titans Player?
Who doesn't love a Derrick Henry stiff arm?
What is your favorite thing about being a Titans Employee?
My favorite thing about being a Titans employee is being a part of an organization that I believe in on the field, in the community, and through the work everyone creates.
Tell us a little more about what your role entails.
Focusing on recruitment & onboarding, compensation & benefits, training, cultural initiatives, and ways to improve the employee experience, the HR Team interacts with each employee during their Titans journey.
What is one item on your bucket list?
Watch the Titans win the Super Bowl in person.
