NASHVILLE, Tenn. — **The Titans just wrapped up practice on Wednesday at Saint Thomas Sports Park.

On Saturday, the team will face the Jacksonville Jaguars at Everbank Field.

Three quick hits after today's practice:

**

Pro Bowl celebration**

Five Titans were named Pro Bowlers on Tuesday night, and linebacker Brian Orakpo provided reporters a glimpse of the scene on Wednesday.

In the team's auditorium, Titans general manager Jon Robinson and Mike Mularkey had a little fun delivering the news to the players in a team meeting, calling the names of the Pro Bowlers, one by one.

"And he just kept going,'' recalled Orakpo, who had his name called by Robinson.

In addition to Orakpo, running back DeMarco Murray, tight end Delanie Walker, tackle Taylor Lewan, and defensive lineman Jurrell Casey were also named Pro Bowlers. Quarterback Marcus Mariota, fullback Jalston Fowler and tackle Jack Conklin are alternates.

"Everybody was happy, ecstatic, giving us a round of applause,'' Orakpo said his teammates. "It was just a blur. A lot of high fives.

"It was almost like you were getting called on The Price is Right. That's exactly what it felt like. It was pretty cool."

Murray is a Pro Bowl selection for the third time in his career. He leads the AFC with 1,224 rushing yards in his first season with the team.

"It is a huge honor,'' Murray said. "Obviously to be voted by the fans and peers around the league is a pretty special deal. Hopefully we don't have to play in it, but we'll see."

Roster move**

The Titans on Wednesday promoted cornerback D'Joun Smith from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.

The Titans officially placed defensive lineman Karl Klug on Injured Reserve.

Smith (5-11, 193) was a third-round pick (65th overall) by the Indianapolis Colts in 2015. He played in four games as a rookie for the Colts, but missed the majority of the season with a knee injury. This year he was waived (injured) at the end of training camp by the Colts. He was signed to the Detroit Lions practice squad in September after recovering from injury and waived in November.

Smith was a four-year starter at Florida Atlantic, playing 44 games and totaling 120 tackles, nine interceptions, 29 passes defensed, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 47 kickoff returns (23.3 yard average). He earned team MVP honors in 2013 and team Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2014. As a junior, Smith posted seven interceptions.

Injuries

Cornerback Jason McCourty (chest contusion/shoulder sprain) did not practice on Wednesday, and his status for Saturday's game is uncertain.

Mularkey said a lot could depend on whether he's able to practice on Thursday, but Mularkey didn't sound optimistic.

Linebacker Derrick Morgan (ankle) did not practice, but Mularkey called the injury a "slight twist of his ankle."

Tight end Phillip Supernaw (concussion) and safety Da'Norris Searcy (concussion) were both full participants in practice.

Linebacker Sean Spence was a full participant in practice for the second straight day. Spence missed last Sunday's game with an ankle injury.
