NASHVILLE, Tenn. —The Titans just wrapped up practice on Wednesday at Saint Thomas Sports Park.
On Sunday, the team will face the Houston Texans.
Three quick hits after today's practice:
Wright ready to go
Titans receiver Kendall Wright returned to the practice field on Wednesday and said he's ready to turn to action on Sunday.
Wright has missed the last two games with a rib injury.
"I am tired of being in the training room and ready to be out there,'' Wright said. "It's painful to watch when you want to be out there helping your teammates. It's not something you want to do."
Wright has 33 catches for 390 yard and three touchdowns on the season. He's missed a total of five games with injuries.
He'll be catching passes on Sunday from quarterback Zach Mettenberger.
"Nothing changes,'' Wright said. "Zach has been here before, and he's run the offense. He has an opportunity to go out there and make plays, and us as receivers have to make plays for him."
Looney back at center
Joe Looney will start at center against the Texans, interim coach Mike Mularkey said after Wednesday's practice.
Looney started one game at center, and three games at left guard, earlier this season.
Gallik has started the last seven games at center, but Mularkey said Looney is better suited for the Texans and their defensive front.
Injury Report
In addition to Wright, safety Da'Norris Searcy also returned to practice on Wednesday. He missed Sunday's game with a hamstring injury.
Quarterback Marcus Mariota (knee) did not practice on Wednesday, and neither did defensive lineman Sammie Hill (knee).
