NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Titans rookie edge rusher Harold Landry practiced for the second day in a row on Friday, and he's expected to play on Sunday against the Texans.
The same goes for linebacker Rashaan Evans.
"I was (disappointed) that I couldn't play in game one, but everything happens for a reason, and now I am ready to go," Landry said on Friday. "It is definitely an exciting time.
"I feel good. I'm ready to go. It has been going good in practices. I know all of my assignments and I'm ready to go."
Landry, the team's second round pick who has sidelined since the preseason with an ankle injury, worked individually with Titans head coach Mike Vrabel early in the week, but he moved into full practices.
Evans, the team's first round pick, also missed the opener but returned to practice this week.
"I told them I am ready right now," Evans said. "So whenever they call my name I'll be ready. I just have to make sure that I am mentally and physically ready."
Vrabel said he expects both players to play in the game.
"It will be good to get them out there," Vrabel said. "We are excited about that."
Tackles out
Vrabel ruled out tackles Taylor Lewan (concussion) and Jack Conklin (knee) for Sunday's game.
Dolphins defensive end Andre Branch leveled Lewan with crack back block on Sunday. Lewan did not practice throughout the week for the Titans. Conklin also didn't play in the opener vs. Miami.
Also, tackles Dennis Kelly (illness) did not practice for the second day on a row on Friday.
Injury Report
Safety Kendrick Lewis (foot) did not practice on Friday, and he's also been ruled out.
Receiver Corey Davis (hamstring), defensive lineman Matt Dickerson (knee), cornerback Kenneth Durden (hamstring), linebacker Derrick Morgan (knee) and cornerback Kenneth Durden (hamstring) all appeared on the injury report during this week.
Davis was a full participant in Friday's practice and is expected to play.
The Titans added tight end Luke Stocker (calf) to the Injury Report on Friday. He's listed as questionable, along with Kelly, Morgan, Mariota and Landry.
