TEMPE, Ariz. —** The Titans just wrapped up practice on Thursday at Arizona State University.

On Sunday, the team will face the San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara, California.

Three quick hits:

**

Corey Davis extra work**

Two days in a row, rookie receiver Corey Davis has been one of the last players to leave the practice fields here at Arizona State University.

Davis did extra work with quarterback Marcus Mariota on Wednesday, and he worked extra on Thursday as well.

"He is trying to be a great player," Titans coach Mike Mularkey said of Davis after today's practice. "I like to see the quarterbacks and a lot of guys staying out and spending a lot of time together. It is important in his development.

"But it doesn't surprise me. He wants to be great, and that's what you have to do. It's what you do on your own that will really make a difference in your career."

Davis had three catches for 29 yards against the Cardinals. On the season, Davis has 25 catches for 256 yards.

Davis said he's just "trying to get better." He hopes to make an impact on Sunday against the 49ers.

"Whenever it is one-on-one, or even zone, you have to win," Davis said. "Our job is to get open and catch the ball."

"Let's Don't Panic"

The Titans struggled on offense in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals.

Now, the mission is to get things cranked up against the 49ers, said offensive coordinator Terry Robiskie.

The Titans were stagnant on offense in the second half, managing just three first downs and 62 yards of total offense. The team had just 14 first downs and 204 yards of offense in the game.

Quarterback Marcus Mariota completed 16-of-31 passes for 159 yards, with two interceptions.

"I think from all of us, not just Marcus, all of us just keep the train going," Robiskie said. "Let's don't panic. Let's don't get overjoyed or over-depressed or whatever. Just keep grinding and take it one game at a time.

"Everybody just focus this week on playing the San Francisco 49ers."

Injury update

Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan returned to practice on Thursday after missing Wednesday with back spasms. Lewan left Sunday's game against the Cardinals after 18 plays.

Safety Johnathan Cyprien (back) and tight end Phillip Supernaw (ankle) did not practice on Thursday for the second day in a row.

"Supernaw is coming along, and he may do some things tomorrow," Mularkey said. "We'll see how Cyp is tomorrow as well."

Linebacker Derrick Morgan was limited with a knee injury.
