NASHVILLE, Tenn. —The Titans just wrapped up practice on Friday at Saint Thomas Sports Park.
On Sunday, the team will face the Jets.
Three quick hits after today's practice:
**
Wright out**
Titans receiver Kendall Wright has been ruled out for Sunday's game because of a rib injury he suffered last week against the Jaguars.
Wright, who has 33 catches for 390 yards and three touchdowns this season, didn't practice all week.
With Wright out, first-year receivers Andrew Turzilli and Tre McBride are expected to get playing time alongside veteran Harry Douglas and rookie receiver Dorial Green-Beckham.
"They are (ready),'' interim coach Mike Mularkey said of Turzilli and McBride. "They have been here as early as the coaches. They are here early, and they stay late. They have been grinding.
"So they are going to step up and make the most of their opportunity. But they will play pretty extensively."
**
Cudjoe-Virgil injury**
Rookie linebacker Yannik Cudjoe-Virgil suffered a season-ending patellar tendon injury in Thursday's practice.
He's scheduled for surgery today, Mularkey said.
Cudjoe-Virgil played in the last two games after being promoted from the practice squad last month.
Promoting linebacker J.R. Tavai from the practice squad to the active roster is an option, Mularkey said.
Injury Report
In addition to Wright, linebacker Derrick Morgan (shoulder) and defensive lineman Mike Martin (knee) have also been ruled out for Sunday's game. McBride practiced Friday after being added to the injury report on Thursday with an abdomen injury, as did defensive lineman Sammie Hill (knee), tight end Anthony Fasano (shoulder) and running back Dexter McCluster (knee). McBride is listed as questionable while Hill, Fasano and McCluster are all probable for Sunday's game.
