NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Titans have agreed to terms with former Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro.

Also, the Titans have also reached a deal with safety Jason Thompson, who played collegiately at Utah.

Vaccaro, a first round pick (15th overall) by the Saints in the 2013 NFL Draft, has played in 68 career games, with 67 starts. In five seasons, he's recorded 386 career tackles, with eight interceptions and 7.5 career sacks.

A 6-foot, 214-pounder, Vaccaro earned All-America honors as a senior at the University of Texas.

Vaccaro worked out for the team on Friday at Saint Thomas Sports Park.

He'll take the place of safety Johnathan Cyprien, who was placed on Injured Reserve earlier this week after suffering a torn ACL.

Thompson (6-2, 208) entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with the New England Patriots in 2017. He has spent time with New England, Chicago, Seattle and Dallas. He finished his college career at Utah, where he played 23 games. He began his college career as a quarterback at Wyoming, before transferring.
