The Tennessee Titans today announced the launch of a new partnership with Oscar Award-Winning hip hop group, Three 6 Mafia. The partnership centers around their iconic song 'Who Run It,' which will be heavily featured throughout the season as a rallying call for fans, embodying the team's spirit and determination.
A music video featuring Three 6 Mafia and Titans' fans and players will air in Nissan Stadium as the players take the field on Sept. 11. Three 6 Mafia will also appear live at the game for a special halftime performance.
"Nashville truly is Music City, and music runs deep in our DNA and culture at the Tennessee Titans. We recently set out looking for ways to highlight local artists promoting diversity of sound – aiming to marry sports and music in a unique way," said Surf Melendez, Titans Vice President and Executive Creative Director. "Three 6 Mafia perfectly represents the swagger of individuality and the spirit of tradition, making them the perfect fit for this collaboration."
Fans can look forward to new in-game rituals highlighting Three 6 Mafia and the 'Who Run It' anthem. The collaboration serves as part of a larger initiative from the Titans organization to develop content and in-game entertainment that highlights local artists and music.
