NASHVILLE, Tenn. --The Tennessee Titans will celebrate the sixth annual CODE BLUE game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Oct. 20. Each year the CODE BLUE game is a call for Titans fans, restaurants and local businesses throughout Middle Tennessee to rally around the team and show their Titans spirit.
"We're excited to bring back CODE BLUE this week and it's a chance for our fans to celebrate Titans football all week leading up to the game," said Ralph Ockenfels, Titans Vice President of Marketing. "It's always an honor to see the city come together in support of the team and just like our fans, we're looking forward to Sunday's game."
As in years past, Titans' supporters are encouraged to wear Titans Light Blue to work, school and the big game throughout the week. Fans young and old can also get in on the action through social media by sharing their own CODE BLUE inspired photos using Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Each day leading up to the game, lucky fans will win signed team memorabilia.
On game day, the Titans' Street Team will be out and about getting fans into the CODE BLUE excitement. The week's activities will conclude on game day where all fans at LP Field will receive either a light blue or navy blue shirt commemorating the CODE BLUE game. For the first time since 2008, the players will wear the Titans Navy Blue jerseys.
