NASHVILLE, Tenn. — For the residents at Saint Thomas Hickman Nursing Home in Centerville, Tenn., this Tuesday was just another ordinary day, until the Tennessee Titans pulled in their parking lot for a "Titans Tuesday" visit.
Titans players, Angelo Blackson, Steven Johnson, Josue Matias, Tre McBride, Jeremiah Poutasi, Cody Riggs and Quinton Spain visited the nursing home patients this morning with warm smiles and wishes of wellness.

The residents and staff were all waiting to meet the Titans players and the most excited resident was Buford Wayne Tidwell, II, better known as Bubba. The Titans are Bubba's favorite team!

"The day means so much to our residents, patients and staff. The visit creates and emotional spark in all of us and am sure a lift to the players as well. Our residents prove to be cheerleaders!"

"As soon as our residents heard the Titans were coming to visit, the excitement began! Knowing the players took time to visit them on their day off means so much. "
"Buford 'Bubba' Wayne Tidwell, a resident who is a Titans fan, can be found watching the Titans play each week and it meant so much to him," said Hoover. "I am sure many stories will be exchanged tonight and many days to come among the residents."
