EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Tennessee tight end Bo Scaife was inactive for the Titans' game against the New York Jets with a knee injury.
Scaife, one of Kerry Collins' main targets, was injured during the season-opening loss to Pittsburgh and missed last week's game against Houston. He was replaced Sunday by Alge Crumpler.
Titans backup quarterback Vince Young was listed as Tennessee's emergency quarterback. He missed practice Thursday and Friday with an illness. Patrick Ramsey is Collins' backup.
The Jets were without cornerbacks Lito Sheppard (right quadriceps) and Donald Strickland (right ankle), as expected. Dwight Lowery replaced Sheppard in the starting lineup opposite Darrelle Revis.
Speedy wide receiver David Clowney was also among the inactives for the Jets, along with linebacker Jamaal Westerman. Offensive lineman Matt Slauson, defensive lineman Ropati Pitoitua and fourth-string quarterback Kevin O'Connell also were inactive. Erik Ainge was the No. 3 quarterback.
Titans punter Craig Hentrich (calf strain) was inactive and replaced by former Jet Reggie Hodges. Also not playing for the Titans were: linebacker Stanford Kegler, offensive lineman Troy Kropog, wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins and defensive linemen Sen'Derrick Marks and Dave Ball.
