NASHVILLE – The Titans on Monday waived receiver Cameron Batson.
Batson initially made the team's 53-man roster on Sunday.
Signed as a free agent following the 2018 NFL Draft, Batson spent the 2019 season on Injured Reserve. He played in 11 games for the Titans in 2018 and had eight catches for 82 yards.
The 5-foot-8-inch, 180-pounder played collegiately at Texas Tech, where he collected 157 receptions for 1,499 yards and 14 touchdowns, while returning 22 kickoffs for 417 yards and 65 punts for 394 yards.
The move leaves the Titans with five receivers on the 53-man roster – Corey Davis, A.J. Brown, Adam Humphries, Kalif Raymond and Cody Hollister.
The Titans open the season next Monday at Denver.
