NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Titans running back David Cobb isn't satisfied.
Far from it, in fact.
After running for a team-high 53 yards in the preseason opener against the Falcons – and drawing praise from head coach Ken Whisenhunt – Cobb watched tape of his performance.
He saw some holes, and he's not talking about ones to run through.
"I watched film, and there were some reads I missed,'' Cobb said. "I felt like I could have broken some more tackles, and I went down too easy. There's a lot of room for improvement."
Whisenhunt said Cobb earned more opportunities with the first team offense because of his performance.
Cobb knows what he needs to do next time out. The Titans face the Rams on Sunday in preseason game No.2.
"Sometimes I think I admitted defeat before (the play) was actually over, and I didn't use my stiff-arm at all,'" Cobb said. "And one of their linebackers kind of got me good on the sideline. There were some things I saw when I watched film that made me like, "Why didn't I stiff-arm here or drop my shoulder?"
"But for the first game I guess I was so excited I probably forgot I had my other arm. I just have to be more decisive, be more physical and keep running hard."
