NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Ready to see the Titans like you've never seen them before?
Well, it's time.
The series premiere of "Igniting the Fire" debuted Tuesday night on TitansOnline.com, Facebook.com, the Titans' official app, and on the team's YouTube channel. A total of six episodes will air every Tuesday between now and July 24, leading up to the start of training camp.
The episodes give a behind-the-scenes look at the team, including the players and coaches. Included are Mic'd up segments from meeting rooms, and the practice fields.
"Hey, you know what would be lit? If we had Hard Knocks," Titans cornerback Adoree' Jackson, smiling, said to a teammate during filming. "We're doing our own."
Igniting the Fire, Episode One is titled "Who is Mike Vrabel?" It provides a closer look at the new Titans head coach, from the day he stepped off the plane in Nashville after being hired in January. The episode features interviews from those close to Vrabel, as well as footage of Vrabel coaching and teaching during the offseason in meetings.
The second episode will feature the team's offense, including quarterback Marcus Mariota and the team's receivers, and an interview with offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur.
The team's running backs, secondary and linebackers will be highlighted in later episodes, with more Mic'd up segments with players and coaches.
An episode on team building with the rookies and veterans will be featured in the final episode.
This project has been the culmination of months of work from the team's video/production staff, which took advantage of unprecedented access and cooperation of the entire coaching staff, players and support staff.
The production staff used all offseason practices to gather content and wire the team's players and coaches, along with additional interviews with those involved.
The episodes will allow fans an opportunity to get to know the coaching staff, support staff and players in a different way.
Each episode will be roughly 10-12 minutes in length.
