NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Titans practiced on Wednesday at Saint Thomas Sports Park, and the team is scheduled to practice again early Thursday in Nashville before flying to London on Thursday evening.
The team is scheduled to arrive in London early Friday morning, and a practice is scheduled a few hours later.
On Sunday, the Titans will face the Chargers at Wembley Stadium.
"We wanted to try and keep everything as normal as possible," Vrabel said of the practice week plan. "We have a great facility here, and I know how guys like to sleep in their own beds, they like to see their wives, they like to see their kids, and that's part of their routine.
"I felt like after talking to some people, you could do it either way – you could go over (to London) and spend a week there, or you could arrive Friday morning. And we're excited. … We're going to have a good practice here (Thursday) and we're going to land and try and do some things to keep guys up and then we're going to get into our Friday practice."
Orakpo's Mindset
The Titans were held without a sack in Sunday's game vs. Baltimore, and next up is Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers.
The defense knows it needs to get after Rivers.
"It's very important," Orakpo said. "Rivers has been doing it a long time, and he's seen it all from disguises and schemes. We have to make sure we put pressure on him and make it hard for him."
Orakpo hasn't tallied a sack yet this season, but he's optimistic moving forward.
Orakpo had seven sacks last season, a year after racking up 10.5.
"I have been doing this for a long time, and this is definitely one of my slower starts when it comes to being without a sack right now," Orakpo said. "But trust me, I am never discouraged. It is still early in the season, and one thing about me is I always pick it up eventually. It will come. Sacks come in bunches."
Injury Report
Guard Quinton Spain (shoulder), linebacker Derrick Morgan (shoulder) and linebacker Will Compton (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday for the Titans.
Safety Kenny Vaccaro (elbow) and linebacker Wesley Woodyard (shoulder) were limited in today's practice, while defensive lineman Bennie Logan (elbow) was a full participant.
