NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota was back on the practice field on Thursday as the team continued preparations for Sunday's game vs. the Colts.

Mariota missed practice on Wednesday after suffering a stinger on Saturday against the Redskins.

"He did some stuff," Titans coach Mike Vrabel said after practice. "Just to make sure that we are progressing along. I think that is the most important thing. He didn't take the reps that he would normally take, but he took enough to feel like we can move on to tomorrow and see where we're at there."

Mariota was listed as limited on the team's Injury Report on Thursday with neck and foot injuries.

"I am doing everything I can, day and night, to try and make sure that I can be ready," Mariota said on Wednesday. "This is for everything. There is no timetable. If I can go and it is Sunday at 5 o'clock, by all means. We're just taking it one day at a time and I am going to do my best to be available."

Quarterbacks Blaine Gabbert and Austin Davis also practiced on Thursday.

The Titans are scheduled to practice again on Friday in preparation for Sunday's game against the Colts. The Titans, winners of four straight, need a win to advance into the playoffs.

Mariota suffered the injury late in the first half of Saturday's game vs. the Redskins, and he did not return.

Gabbert stepped in for Mariota, and guided the Titans to a 25-16 win.

Mariota said Wednesday he believes he is capable of performing well even if he misses practice time during the week.
