I just finished another fascinating day here in Hawaii! It began this morning with a 7 a.m. call time for breakfast and a meeting. The E2K directors wanted us to get to know each other a little better, so she called people up one by one to answer several different questions about their lives and why they feel they were selected to be here.
One teammate spoke about being an only child and her family not living nearby, so her NFL team family is the only "family" she has around. It got super emotional when she began tearing up after she stated she was so excited to finally have the extended family of her fellow cheerleaders from around the country.
We then went to shoot our swimsuit video for NFL Network. This will be the bumpers for the LIVE Pro Bowl draft!! They had us playing football on the beach, as well as doing cheerleading stunts and anything else fun and creative. We had an absolute blast!
Afterwards, we went to the NFL Pro Bowl draft stage to rehearse for tomorrow's draft! It definitely got our adrenalin pumping! Then we grabbed a quick lunch and headed back to the hotel for rehearsal.
At 4 p.m. we began our cheerleader draft! There were so many fans -- all there to see US! What an honor!! The way they did our draft was by drawing our names out of a box. It then alternated between teams! I was assigned Team Orange for Team Jerry Rice! YAY!
At sunset, we shot our PBC Photo Shoot! This year was completely new! We changed up the scenery, and shot in front of the pool, with the sunset behind us! We get to see the final picture tonight! SO EXCITED!
We ended the day preparing for the next day with a two-hour rehearsal. Can't wait to see what tomorrow holds! See you in the morning!
