Aloha Titans Fans,
I can't believe it is already Pro Bowl week!! AH!! I have spent the past month learning many routines and preparing for all the events they have planned for us here in Hawaii.
I had a departure time of 6 a.m. this morning, which then got delayed an hour, just enough time to possibly miss my connecting flight in Houston(complete panic mode). Once landed, I ran to my gate to discover it was delayed too (sigh of relief!). I met nine other amazing Pro Bowl cheerleader representatives in Houston. We all bonded instantly! From there, we were Hawaii bound!
When we arrived, we were greeted with a Hawaiian lei made out of REAL fresh flowers! So cool! We spent a couple of hours at the airport waiting the arrival of other delayed flights, which put us on crunch time for practice.
We got to the hotel and had 15 minutes to freshen up and meet for our 6:15 p.m. rehearsal. My roommate is Laura from the Jets. She is amazing!
We spent the next 4 ½ hours reviewing our routines and learning part of our halftime routine. It was instant magic when we all began dancing! It was like we had practiced for years together. Our instructor, Diane, said it brought tears of joy to her eyes! It was definitely a special moment. We also found out we will be performing with Fall Out Boy!!! I am so excited!!! This is all still so surreal to me!
Our call time is 7:20 a.m. tomorrow, so I am off to bed to get some rest. So anxious for all of tomorrows events!
