NASHVILLE, Tenn. – On Thursday, Sept. 16, Nissan Stadium will host the White House Blue Devils and Waverly Central Tigers, as Waverly Central continues to recover from the late August flooding that destroyed its football facilities. Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT.
The entire Titans Radio broadcast team, including recent Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame inductee Mike Keith and veteran NFL coach Dave "Coach Mac" McGinnis, will call the game on Titans Radio's flagship station, 104-5 The Zone. Pre-game coverage with Amie Wells and Rhett Bryan begins at 6 p.m.
"When Mike Keith approached us about this idea to help with the recovery in Humphreys County, (the answer) was a unanimous yes," said Titans Radio and 104-5 The Zone Operations Manager Paul Mason. "The entire Titans Radio team is humbled and looking forward to giving Waverly and White House an NFL broadcast experience. We can't wait to hear 'Tigers Radio' Thursday night on 104-5 The Zone."
Funds will be raised for the team's recovery effort through donations to http://www.tennesseetitans.com/donatetowaverly. Those wishing to support the team in person can register for a free ticket at NissanStadium.com.
The stadium's east side lower bowl seating will be open to fans for the game, with White House fans seated in Sections 112-115 and Wavely Central fans directed to Sections 109-112. Fans can park for free in Lots A, B, C or D, and all fans will be directed to enter through Gate 1. Parking lots open at 5 p.m., with Gate 1 opening at 5:30 p.m. Concession stands will be open near Section 112, with each stand serving food and beverage at a 50 percent discount.
