Marines were stationed around the stadium at drop zones and collected the toys. One Nashville resident, Patrick Edwards brought a toy to donate on Sunday.
"I always donate a toy to this drive," said Edwards. "I think it's a great cause and I'm happy to participate."
After the drive, the toys were taken to the Toys for Tots warehouse where they will be distributed to various charities in our area. Staff Sergeant Fabian Garcia was in charge of the drive for the Marines.

The Tennessee Titans and Titans fans have always strongly supported the men and women in uniform who serve our country. That was evident on Sunday as fans expressed their gratitude to the Marines at LP Field by saying thank you for their service and sacrifice.
The Toys for Tots program started in 1947 by Major Bill Hendricks; USCR collected and distributed 5,000 toys in Los Angeles. Since then the program has distributed over 400 million toys to 188 million needy children throughout the country.
