NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- It's not too late to sign up for the second annual "Titans Back to Football 5k & 'Play 60 Kids Fun Run" to be held this Saturday (Aug. 10) at LP Field.
Honorary race starter Mike Munchak will start the runners at 7:30 a.m. outside LP Field, and the entire Titans team, including players, coaches, cheerleaders and T-Rac will greet them as they cross the finish line inside the stadium at the 50-yard line.
In addition, Nashville Mayor Karl Dean will be on hand to congratulate finishers.
All 5k participants will receive a commemorative running shirt, medal and a ticket to one of three select Titans games of their choice -- vs. Jacksonville (Nov. 10), Indianapolis (Nov. 14) or Houston (Dec. 29), plus an option to purchase additional game tickets at a special price.
Post-race activities include a tailgate party with live entertainment, access to the Bud Light beer garden and MAFIAoZA's pizza.
On-site registration for the 5k (7:30 a.m. start) is $60. The Kids Fun Run (9 a.m. start) is $15.
The event will benefit 'Girls on the Run Nashville' and is a partnership with Competitor Group, organizers of the St. Jude County Music Marathon, Muddy Buddy and Women's 1/2 Marathon.
