NASHVILLE, Tenn. —The Titans have the No.1 pick of this year's NFL Draft.
Right now, ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. said the Titans should have plenty of options, whether it's making the pick or trading it.
Kiper released his first mock draft on Thursday morning. He projected the Titans taking Ohio State defensive end Joey Bosa with the pick, with Cal quarterback Jared Goff going to the Browns at No.2 and Ole Miss tackle Laremy Tunsil going third overall to the Chargers.
"You take Joey Bosa or you stay at one and you take (left tackle) Laremy Tunsil from Ole Miss and move Taylor Lewan to right tackle," Kiper said of the Titans. "Those would be some of the options for the Titans at the top spot."
Kiper, speaking on a conference call on Thursday, thinks the Titans could get some offers from NFL teams for the top pick.
In Kiper's first mock, he has Oregon defensive end DeForest Bucker going fourth overall to the Cowboys, and Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey going No.5 to the Jaguars.
"You're going to get some offers, I believe, for that first pick because Cleveland at two will look at a quarterback, and if you're say, Dallas, at four, could you jump ahead of Cleveland and take a Jared Goff?," Kiper said. "Tennessee could move from one to four and still get a really good defensive back like Jalen Ramsey, who's a versatile corner/safety, which would fill a big need in that secondary for the Titans."
