In his first season with Tennessee, Babin leads the Titans with 12.5 sacks, which is tied for third place in the NFL. He leads all AFC defensive ends in sacks and trails only Miami linebacker Cameron Wake (14.0) and Atlanta defensive end John Abraham (13.0) in the NFL rankings. Babin's 12.5 sacks also put him in a tie for ninth place on the franchise's all-time single-season sack list. The eight-year veteran ranks second on the team with 10 tackles for loss and is tied for third on the squad with 15 quarterback pressures. The Pro Bowl honor is the first of Babin's career.
Mariani, the Titans' 2010 seventh-round draft pick (222nd overall selection), leads the AFC and ranks third in the NFL with a 12.9-yard punt return avg. The former University of Montana standout also ranks fourth in the AFC and 10th in the NFL with a 25.2-yard kickoff return average. He is the only player in the NFL to return both a punt and a kickoff for a touchdown in 2010 and is just the second Titans/Oilers player to do so in the same regular season (Billy Johnson, 1975 and 1977). He collected his first career score with a 98-yard kickoff return against Denver (10/3/10) and was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week after posting an 87-yard punt return for a touchdown against Washington (11/21/10). Last week at Kansas City (12/26/10), he broke a 47-year old franchise record by surpassing Bobby Jancik's 1963 total of 1,317 kickoff return yards. Mariani also has accumulated the second-highest total of return yards on punts and kickoffs in franchise history. He trails only Derrick Mason's 1,794 yards in 2000. Since the team moved to Tennessee, Mariani is the fourth Titans' rookie to be named to the Pro Bowl.
Each year, NFL coaches, players and fans vote upon players to be elected to AFC and NFC Pro Bowl teams. Last season, Tennessee was represented by four players, including running back Chris Johnson, center Kevin Mawae, defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch and quarterback Vince Young. Since moving the franchise to Tennessee in 1997, the Titans organization has had 48 Pro Bowl representatives.

one punt. Set up the Titans' winning touchdown with a 73-yard kickoff
return to the Dallas 11-yard line late in the fourth quarter. Notched a special
teams tackle on coverage units.
• At Jacksonville (10/18), returned two kickoffs for 50 yards and one punt
for nine yards. Collected a solo tackle on special teams coverage units.
• Against Philadelphia (10/24), returned four punts for 43 yards. Brought
back a punt 20 yards in the fourth quarter.
• At San Diego (10/31), returned seven kickoffs for 159 yards and one
punt for 17 yards. Notched a solo tackle on special teams coverage units.
Returned a punt 17 yards to the Titans' 26-yard line in the second quarter.
• At Miami (11/14), served as the return specialist and returned three punts
for a career-best 61 yards and four kickoffs for 92 yards. Gave the Titans
great field position with a 30-yard punt return to the Dolphins' 47-yard line
in the first quarter.
• Against Washington (11/21), named AFC Special Teams Player of the
Week after returning three kickoffs for 82 yards and one punt for 87 yards
and a touchdown. Gave the Titans a 7-0 lead with an 87-yard punt return
for a touchdown with 8:18 remaining in the first quarter. It tied for the
second-longest punt return for a touchdown in franchise history, equaling
Billy Johnson's 87-yarder against Cleveland on Oct. 16, 1977.
• At Houston (11/28), returned four kickoffs for 93 yards and two punts for
25 yards.
• Against Jacksonville (12/5), returned two kickoffs for 37 yards and one
punt for four yards. Tied for the team lead with a solo special teams tackle.
• Against Indianapolis (12/9), returned seven kickoffs for 173 yards and
one punt for zero yards.
• Against Houston (12/19), returned three kickoffs for 90 yards and one
punt for two yards.
• At Kansas City (12/26), returned five kickoffs for 98 yards and three punt
returns for one yard. Set the Titans' single-season record for kickoff return
yards with a 14-yard return in the first quarter. Returned the opening kickoff
of the second half 38 yards to the Titans' 39-yard line.
