NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Relevent Sports, a division of RSE Ventures, today announced that English Premier League powers Manchester City F.C. and Tottenham Hotspur F.C. will face off at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday, July 29 as part of the 2017 International Champions Cup presented by Heineken. The match is set to kick off at 5:00PM CT on ESPN2.
The two powerhouse clubs feature some of the top international talent from around the world. Manchester City F.C. features Argentinian superstar Sergio Aguero and Belgian national Kevin De Bruyne while English stars Harry Kane and Dele Alli lead the attack for Tottenham Hotspur F.C.. In addition to competing at the top of their respective league tables this year, both clubs also participated in this year's UEFA Champions League. This is Tottenham Hotspur F.C.'s first year in the US leg of International Champions Cup and the fourth ICC appearance for Manchester City F.C. who participated in the Australian and Chinese legs of the tournament in 2015 and 2016 respectively. The Club announced their participation in this summer's event with German midfielder İlkay Gündoğan and Brazilian international Gabriel Jesus making the trip to New York to share the news.
In addition to being the home of the Tennessee Titans, Nissan Stadium has been host to a number of major events including college bowl games, major music concerts and top tier international and club soccer matches. Starting with Nissan Stadium's inaugural soccer match between the LA Galaxy and Tecos UAG, Nissan Stadium has hosted the men's and women's United States national teams and numerous CONCACAF and Olympic qualifying matches. In 2011, Nissan Stadium hosted a between the United States and Paraguay that held the record for the largest attended match in state history until recently topping that record in 2015 with the match between the United States and Guatemala.
Tickets for the Manchester City F.C. v. Tottenham Hotspur F.C. matchup at Nissan Stadium will go on sale to the general public beginning Tuesday, April 4. Fans can find all venue-specific and other ticket information at www.internationalchampionscup.com.

The 2017 International Champions Cup presented by Heineken will run from July 19 – 30 and feature 12 matches played across 11 cities throughout the United States. In total, eight teams from around the globe, including England (Manchester United F.C., Manchester City F.C., Tottenham Hotspur F.C.), Italy (Juventus F.C., AS Roma), France (Paris Saint-Germain F.C.) and Spain (FC Barcelona, Real Madrid C.F.) will compete in this year's tournament. Each team will play three contests and the club with the most points at the end of the tournament will be crowned champion. Each win in regulation will result in three points and a tie will go straight to a shootout; the winning team in a shootout will receive two points and the losing team will receive one.
