Well, after a two hour flight to Dallas and another 8 hour flight - I have arrived safe and sound in Hawaii! I had a familiar face on my flight - Albert Haynesworth and his family made the journey with me. We picked up Jason Witten from the Dallas Cowboys on our connecting flight. I didn't get the chance to meet any of the other cheerleaders on my flight.
Once we landed, I was surprised to receive a present of a traditional Hawaiin lei by some family friends, as well as a lei from the Pro Bowl. They are so gorgeous and it was so nice to get a gift from home! It felt great knowing that all of my family and friends were thinking about me. I also realized that when I landed, that so did about 8 other cheerleaders, so I got a chance to meet some of them. We rode in vans to the hotel. My van included Tiffany from the Washington Redskins, Ashley from Houston Texans and Heather from the Cincinnati Bengals.
We got to the hotel and unpacked - I'm rooming with Tara from the Carolina Panthers. We all went to dinner and then came back for a little R & R before it was time to sleep!
We have breakfast this morning at 7:15 and then take our group photo immediately following. Then, we have a day full of rehearsals....Until next time! Aloha!
