You've actually mentioned being in a situation like this with the Jets previously. What do you take from being in a situation at 1-10 that is helping your approach right now?
I'll just say eliminating the pointing fingers and just control what you can control. You know, it's not like we're going out there just like, 'okay, we're going to lose,' we're going out there with a game plan, a mindset that we're going to come out with a dub. It's a lot of D.B.O. (Don't Beat Ourselves) penalties on ourselves, hurting ourselves on that situation and, you just got to be smart, and capitalize on opportunities that we have. And, just making the most out of the opportunities.
As one of the leaders on this team, one of the captains essentially, is that something you feel the need to express vocally? How do you try to make sure that that does resonate throughout the locker room?
Some people be vocal. But us as a team, we've just got to go look on this film. I feel like we can't say anything as of right now (about) how guys did and how we played as a whole. We've just got to go back to the film and then we'll start making adjustments from there.
