NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Titans receiver Justin Hunter reported for training camp on Thursday and will take part in the team's first practice on Friday, coach Ken Whisenhunt said.
Hunter, heading into his third NFL season, was charged in an incident earlier this month in Virginia Beach, Va.
"Justin is here, and he is ready to go,'' Whisenhunt said. "We have communicated with the league, we feel comfortable with where the process is, and he'll be on the field tomorrow full-go. We certainly support Justin and we're looking forward to seeing how he progresses in camp."
Whisenhunt said the team "feels comfortable with where the situation is right now" in regards to the NFL and any potential disciplinary action.
Defensive lineman Sammie Hill, who missed a good chunk of the offseason with a knee injury, is expected to start off on the Physically Unable to Perform list.
"Physically his knee is doing really well, but football-shape wise, I'm a little concerned about that," Whisenhunt said of Hill. "I think we'll use that time that he's out – I don't think it will be that long -- to work on the side and get ready."
