RB Chris Johnson ran away with his second Diet Pepsi Rookie of the Week honor in the last three weeks.
It marks the second time Johnson has won the award in the last three weeks. It was also the sixth time Johnson was nominated for the award in the eight games he has played.
Johnson rushed for 89 yards and one touchdown and added 72 yards receiving in the Titans' 19-16 win over the Green Bay Packers.
Johnson was selected from among five finalists through fan votes on NFL.com/rookies and via Sprint wireless service. The other finalists were quarterback Joe Flacco of the Baltimore Ravens, running back Matt Forte of the Chicago Bears, running back Tim Hightower of the Arizona Cardinals and quarterback Matt Ryan of the Atlanta Falcons.
After the regular season, five players will be nominated for Diet Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/rookies throughout the month of January. The winner will be announced at a press conference at Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa Bay.
