NASHVILLE, Tenn. –** Titans running back Chris Johnson was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 5.

The 2009 Offensive Player of the Year amassed 131 rushing yards on 19 carries and scored two touchdowns, helping the Titans earn a 34-27 road win.

Johnson, who ranks second in the NFL with 485 rushing yards, surpassed the 100-yard rushing mark for the third time this season and 19th time in 36 career games, while continuing his streak of seven consecutive road games with 100-plus rushing yards.

He scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns, propelling the Titans to victory. Johnson gave the Titans a 27-20 lead with a one-yard touchdown run midway through the fourth quarter and registered the winning score on a one-yard plunge with 3:28 remaining in the game.

This is Johnson's second career AFC Offensive Player of the Week award and the first for the Titans since Keith Bulluck garnered AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his Week 14 performance against St. Louis last season.
