Today, my line group got a chance to teach a Pearl Harbor Cheer Camp. Yours truly was one of the two main instructors and I think it was the best cheer camp I have ever taught. Those little prospects were the most appreciative cheerleaders I have ever seen. They were so excited to see us and they seemed to be having the best time of their lives. It was a great feeling to actually feel like a true superstar. That is exactly how we were treated and I will definitely cherish those little girls' faces forever.
After the cheer camp, we came back for practice. Let me just tell you; I have never practiced this much before and I am loving every bit of it. It reminds me of college dance/cheer summer camp where you practice all day and all night, the only difference is that I actually enjoy the practice from beginning to end. I am sure you guys remember how gruesome summer camp was and you could not wait to go home. Well, I wish I could move to Hawaii and do this full time. What a difference.
Anyway, I am going to leave now. I hope you guys are still praying for me, because I am praying for you!
