Yes, I have turned into a native of the island. Please do not be alarmed if
I do not return. Just kidding! Sorry I missed you guys last night. We have been
jam packed with appearances and events. Yesterday, we did our photo shoot and
actually got the photo cards that night. We also had our field practice. The
stadium was beautiful and as I walked on the field, it all really sunk in that
I was in Hawaii for the 2007 Pro Bowl. It was the best. We were all over the
place trying to take pictures in every spot in the stadium. Our field practice
went great and towards the end, I was one of three girls that was interviewed.
I am not sure by what network, but I hope you guys are watching for me this week.
After practice, we got changed and went to a traditional Luau for all the event
participants and VIP's. Well of course that was nothing new to me because I am
definitely a Very Important Person, so it was easy to fit right in. Although it
was raining, we had a great time. I never realized that the movement of hips
could be such an art. Those Hula dancers will put all of us to shame!
As you can tell, yesterday was full of excitement, but I have to shed some minor details. I am SORE from my head to my toes. That proves that I have been working it out. I have to say that I am still loving it no matter what. I am happy to go to sleep at night aching because guess what?- I AM IN HAWAII!!!
Today has been awesome as well. We were at the skills challenge for most of the day. It was really cool to see the players compete in these events. It is kind of crazy because you see them getting all competitive on the sidelines, but they show up with all these clothes, sunglasses, hats turned backwards and you do not think they are about to perform to the fullest. Well, it is like game day when the whistle blows. I kind of wish the cheerleaders got a chance to show everyone that we could give the guys a run for their money!
I am going to sign off now, because some of us are going to do some shopping and site seeing. Yeah it is late, but the stores do not close until after midnight. I would be dead broke if Nashville was the same way!
I hope your week is going as great as mine!
Love ya,
— Jennifer
