Tonight is the last night. The game was unbelievable, the fans were amazing, the cheerleaders were wonderful; this was the best week of my life. I want to take this time to reflect on the life changing details of this week.
First , all the cheerleaders were beyond expectation. These women were gorgeous, intelligent, sweet, cordial, friendly, funny and every adjective you can think of. I knew that Titans Cheerleaders broke the stereotype, but now I see that all cheerleaders are the most amazing women in the world. We are moms, professionals, teachers, entrepreneurs, counselors, non-profit organizers, entertainers and we are all beautiful inside and out. I learned that not many people get the chance to know what it is like to be a NFL Cheerleader. It is our duty to use our experience to promote women empowerment. Every event we did, we touched someone in some kind of way. We as cheerleaders must understand that we have a platform to show the world how special we are and how much of an impact women are to this world. I have learned that that is my duty. I pledge to take this with me beyond my cheerleading career and throughout my life long journey.
I owe my epiphany to the beautiful women I have met as well as our directors during this week. They did not focus on how well we danced or how straight our lines were. They focused on how we got our message across and how well we connected with the public. I am a new person due to what I have learned from E2k's staff.
On a lighter note, I have also learned that it pays to be a cheerleader. We have gotten so many free gifts that I have to send a box home with my family.
Really guys, I have had the time of my life. I can not thank you enough for allowing me to experience this blessing. It has made me realize again that you guys are my family and that truly defines who I am. It is going to be hard to give up the poms, but I have so many memories to keep me going. No matter what the future brings, a piece of you and this experience will always lie in my heart.
