NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota had a few early faux pas in his first preseason game on Friday night, but he settled in and finished strong.
Mariota guided the Titans on a 10-play, 80-yard drive before exiting in the second quarter. His final numbers were solid, and he heads into preseason game No.2 against the Rams with momentum.
So how did Mariota's debut compare to the first game for a pair of other first round picks? Keep in mind Mariota started on Friday night while quarterbacks Vince Young and Jake Locker came off the bench in their first appearances.
