NASHVILLE – The Titans have agreed to terms with defensive lineman Abdullah Anderson.
On Friday, the team also placed defensive lineman Marlon Davidson on Injured Reserve. Davidson suffered a biceps injury in Thursday's practice against the Seahawks.
Anderson (6-4, 295) initially signed with the Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2018. In addition to the Bears, he's also spent time with the Vikings (2020), Steelers (2021), Packers (2021), Titans (2021), Falcons (2022) and Commanders (2023) in the NFL. Several of his stops were for offseason or practice squad, including his stint in Tennessee during the 2021 season.
Anderson, who played in college at Bucknell, has played in 33 career games, with eight starts. He's totaled 54 tackles, including four tackles for a loss, and three quarterback hits.
His experience includes six games with the Bears (2019), one game with the Vikings (2020), three games with the Packers (2021), 16 games with the Falcons (2022) and seven games with the Washington Commanders (2023).
Anderson played in seven games for the Commanders in 2023 and recorded eight tackles and a half-sack, along with a tackle for a loss and a fumble recovery. In 2022, Anderson achieved career highs as a member of the Falcons with eight starts, 40 tackles, one sack and two tackles for loss.
