Ryan Shazier, LB, Ohio State, Junior
College stats: Shazier was twice named first-team All-Big Ten (2012-13). He recorded 143 tackles (101 solo), 22.5 tackles for loss, six sacks and four forced fumbles and was first-team All-America and a Butkus Award finalist as a junior in 2013. Shazier's sophomore season included 115 tackles (70 solo), 17 tackles for loss, five sacks and an interception that he returned for a touchdown in 2012. As a freshman in 2011, he had 58 tackles, five tackles for loss and three sacks in 13 games (three starts).

Combine performances: Bench press: 25 reps; Vertical jump: 42 inches (first among LBs); Broad jump: 10 feet, 10 inches (first among LBs); 3-cone drill: 6.91 seconds (fifth among LBs); 20-yard shuttle: 4.21 seconds

Chris Borland, LB, Wisconsin, Senior
College stats: Borland was selected first-team All-Big Ten from three straight seasons (2011-13). He was second-team All-America in 2013 after recording 112 tackles (73 solo), 8.5 tackles for loss and four sacks and becoming Wisconsin's career leader with 15 forced fumbles. Borland had 104 tackles (56 solo), 10 for loss and 4.5 sacks in 2012. He recorded 143 tackles (64 solo), 19 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and two interceptions as a sophomore in 2011 that followed a medical redshirt in 2010 that was granted because of a shoulder injury. Borland was Big Ten Freshman of the Year and honorable mention All-Big Ten in 2009 when he had 54 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, five sacks and returned seven kickoffs 106 yards.
